Our event offers four swimming distances: 1, 4, 8 and 16 miles. Every mile makes a real difference for charity!

1 MILE SWIM

Choose between day 1 or day 2 – Choose any event.
Only if competing for a medal – ENTER YOUR AGE CATEGORY EVENT

Entry fee and closing date

Early bird (Closes 31/12/2026) – R200
Regular (Closes 25/05/2027) – R250

All for Charity

Minimum of R750 to be raised for your chosen Charity.

Important

Ages 10+ (EXCEPTIONS allowed).
Ages 10-12 must swim with a tow float (DQ if finishing without).
Wetsuits allowed (2 minute time penalty per mile applies).

Minimum of R3 000 to be raised for Oceans 8s 4 Invitational Charities by – 21 May 2027. Every Charity will benefit equally.
Limited to 50 swimmers.

Oceans 8 Charity Swim was created by a group of non profit organisations to help to provide charities that have a footprint in KwaZulu-Natal with a sustainable source of income. It is a registered Non Profit Company and is audited annually.
